WKU: Teaching Leadership to Combat Leaders and the Effects of PTSD

Dr. Ted Thomas, Director of the Department of Command and Leadership in the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., will present Teaching Leadership to Combat Leaders and the Effects of PTSD as part of the 2014 Boyd-Lubker Visiting Scholars Program at WKU.

The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. March 25 at Gary A. Ransdell Hall Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. The lecture also will be available via Adobe Connect.

The presentation will focus on the unique challenges associated with teaching leadership to men and women who recently return from combat who experience combat stress resulting in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
