Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition, Inc:  announcement: “AMSR-Outpatient Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk: Core Competencies for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals Working in Outpatient Settings” November 6, real-time virtual delivery.

**AMSR will be offered online NOVEMBER 6, 2020 to therapists in Owensboro & surrounding counties in KY… Owensboro Health major underwriter for this; additionally, Beck Wipple the Suicide Prevention Coordinator for Behavioral Health Prevention & Promotion Branch, Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities will be mailing the participants the expensive workbooks. Cost to registrants is still only $50 for 6.5 CEUs for Psychology, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT. Must attend full day of training to receive CEUs. *Registration closes on OCTOBER 19 @

Zero Suicide Institute reached out to those previously registered for April if they had your contact info. You have to register through their site. Thus far we have 30 with ceiling of 50!

**Completion of a Suicide Assessment, Treatment, and Management Training Program is a legal requirement for all mental health workers in Kentucky:

    •  By July 2016, each licensee must complete a board approved training program on suicide assessment, treatment, and management as required by KRS 210.366(2)
    •  Minimum of six (6) credit hours
    • Must be repeated at least one time every six (6) years
