How We Help
Survivors of Suicide Loss
If you have lost someone to suicide, the first thing you should know is that you are not alone. In 2022, 49,476 Americans died by suicide (CDC) — the devastated family and friends they leave behind are known as “survivors.” There are millions of survivors of suicide loss who, like you, are trying to cope with this heartbreaking loss.

Annual LifeSavers Walk
In 2008 ORSPC held the inaugural ORSPC LifeSavers walk. Since then, the LifeSavers Walk has been held every year during National Suicide Prevention Week in September.
The Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition wants to give a heartfelt thanks to those business and individuals that have contributed to make the 2024 LifeSavers Walk a reality. This is the 17th year we have gathered with our neighbors to remember and honor our loved ones that died by suicide. We also strive to talk openly about suicide and mental health to educate and destigmatize what we know to be a public health issue. Thank you. The 2024 Walk is Sept. 28 at Moreland Park 9 am - Noon
